Nigel Mansell to take part in Cycle Race for a Cause

Nigel Mansell, the current President of the charity UK Youth will fly down especially to announce the launch of an extreme cycling challenge. The event is scheduled in July and August this year.

The event named Motorexpo will be officially announced on June 7 and the 1992 F1 champion Mansell will himself do the honors. The event schedule, rules and regulations and other details will be announced on the same day. The Motorexpo is a cycle race which will be a 1200 mile trip around Britain which will go on for 13 days. The key stopping points along the route will be Cardiff, Chester, Worcester, Manchester, Blackpool, Carlisle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hexham, Harrogate, Lincoln, Leicester, Silverstone and Leighton Buzzard The exciting race will begin on 22 July and conclude on 3 August

He participants and attendants at the race will be able to see Mansell himself taking active participation in the events organized by this charity The Youth. Mansell has also taken the cycle race as a golden opportunity to spread awareness about youth through his new campaign 'Positive About Youth'. With this campaign he wants to tell the country that youth is not negative the influences of society make them so. He feels the youth needs care and love from the people around and they can turn around things pretty well. Youth is the future of every nation and their contribution in shaping a country and its economy is immense. To be able to spread this message through his campaign Mansell will participate in the race despite of the numerous injuries on his back, feet and arms.
